XClio Greatpower 500W-2012-04-27
The modular cabling is a big help. This thing comes with so many connectors that it would have filled my entire case if they were all connected at once. The fan is HUGE, they really couldn"t have put a bigger fan in this thing even if they wanted to. And it seems to do the job, because warm air blows out the back of the PSU but my other case fan blows cool. Quiet. The connectors easily attach and detach from drives.

This thing does all the things a power supply should do. The modular cabling is especially nice. Comes with all the connectors you"ll need and they are all cable-wrapped nicely. This is the first time I have ever bought this brand, but the specs are good. Just what I was looking for in this price range. Don"t regret this purchase at all! I use it for my internet server for my business and it runs 24/7 with no issues.Completely stable! I was unsure of the brand at first because of the name, but the quality is top notch and there"s a 14cm fan to boot! GREAT PRODUCT!

Very sturdy construction, this case is rock solid. Airflow is good too, although the real test is in about 3 months when the temperature rises above 100. The LED"s are pretty bright, may or may not be a con, but everyone knows that the more blue lights you have, the faster your system is. The little doors that the front fan are mounted on are a really neat idea. Overall it"s a great case for the price. Comes with a lot of screws and stuff too.

This case is solidly built and well-ventilated. Parts fit where they belong and all the mount points are sturdy. It came with 3 fans so managing the temperature inside is not a problem. Aesthetically it looks great, and it"s not so big that I can"t find room for it. The power supply fit snugly and comfortably in its housing. More than enough room for all your drives.

Pros: I have been using the original "Advanced" version of this case (same case as this except an added 180mm top fan) since I built this i7 920 setup back in 2008. I have ran my comp nearly 24/7 since then, and I can"t believe the big 250mm fans are still running perfectly to this day at constant full speed. Add a 120mm rear fan and the airflow is just amazing, also it is nearly silent because the 250mm fans don"t need to run at high RPM.
Cons: The plastic feet are sort of fragile, but I took mine off since it stands up fine without them anyway.
Other Thoughts: I remember the box being a bit dinged up when I got it, but luckily nothing was damaged. Reading other case reviews here, this seems to happen quite a bit, but not sure if newegg or shipping co. are to blame.

I heard XClio and their mixed quality, but a lot of the bad reviews seemed to be on the lower end models. I bought this STABLEPOWER GOLD 750W power supply, and I have been very happy with it. The price was great, It came in a very high quality almost tool box like storage case, It runs very cool, plenty of cables, and it seems to very stable with my I7 950 Oc"d to 4.2 Ghz. Overall, I am very impressed by the quality of it.

This thing has plenty of power to run any cards in SLI and still have plenty for add-ons. It is almost silent and stays very cool. It look awesome IMO. I noticed a huge decrease from heat upgrading from a bronze 500w. Buy this PSU. Dont try to save money when you purchase a PSU. Unless you dont mind the increase chance of frying your mobo or other hardware. Besides this Gold model saves money in the long run. This thing looks professional. I dont like hardware that looks like toy and this thing looks like you built a system that will last.

Great psu been using this one for almost 5 years and still runs great!!! Running a AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz oc to 3.6 and Two Radeon HD 6970 with no problems for about a year now. Great price at half of a benjamin when i got it!

Excellent air management keeps the computer and video card very cool. Plenty of room for all my components. Looks pretty sharp, nice sleek design. I purchased a new case to take care of some thermal problems I was having with my old case. This NightHawk does an excellent job of performing this task. Lovely case. The tool-less design is as promised.

Looks like a mini server and could be one with all the available hd bays. great air flow. Lighted fans and the 4 corner blue led power/hd indicators are very cool on the all black mesh case. Bottom mount psu. Predrilled for h2o pipes. Enough room behind mobo to route cables for very clean build. filtered intakes. No sharp edges. Absolutely love it. Fans move mucho air, wires were long enough, connections were no brainers and the case got a positve review from my wife who sees computers as no different than any other tool.

XClio STABLEPOWER GOLD 750W is very quiet. My case fans were louder. I can"t hear the fan spinning. It has more than sufficient power for my quad core and 2 x 5870 video cards. Eliminated the weird squeal that my previous PS had with some games. Also very energy efficient. I used to have to have two computers to run my office applications, now I have just one with this PS. Now my office averages 2-3 degrees cooler than it used to. That"s how much difference one of these gold rated can make.

Other Thoughts: Could potentially hold video cards up to 15 inches long. I haven"t actually tested this but I don"t see why not from looking at it.

Sleek PSU in sleek packaging at a great price. XClio Goodpower 550W powers my z68, 560ti and 2500k OC setup with little heat or noise. Can"t ask for much more. It"s quieter (I never noticed until I used this unit) and I really like the modular cables. Not that they"re any different, but they have a few different length cables so I appreciate that for my smaller case. Slighter better amps on the 12v rail than the PC Power supply unit I have so I feel more comfy using it with my video card. I also like the relatively small size of the unit and the fully modular design.

much easier than with a standard unit. Also, it is dead quiet. I bought one a couple of
years ago and it has never let me down. Get it for being modular if nothing else.

This case is amazing, it was exactly what I was looking for: a case that runs cool,
cheap, quiet with lots of space inside but overall dorm-room-size conscious. I am
transitioning to an i7 but buying everything else before the motherboard+CPU+Ram. This
case gets me one step closer, right now it has the heart of my dell 4700 in it. The case
has so much room for customization, if you take out the HD bays you can have up to 9,
5.25 slots, you can move the front fans in any 3 slot configuration you want, both side
panels remove so there is easy access to the back of the cpu it also leaves a .5 inch
gap behind the motherboard mount for cable management.

My first case that hasn"t been the standard pc beige. I love the black finish which
covers the entire case inside and out. Found no sharp edges on my case while working
with it. As mentioned in other reviews, the hard disk retention trays can be a pain to fit
the drives in. But very convenient once they are in and set. Also though not
mentioned, the front mesh do have light dust filters in them. Overall all IMHO this case
is definitely a good value for the price and I would have no qualms about recommending
it friends.

This is a very good case with 4 fans (5 if you add one to the back), It keeps
everything cool with its very good airflow, This thing does better then some of the
expensive branded cases out there that cost over 150$ and have bad airflow. For this
great price you just can"t go wrong. Really good case. If your building a budget PC and
don"t want to mnake it top notch and want your videos cards and everything else to
stay cool, You will be crazy not to own one of these trust me guys.

The HDD modular system vertical stacking makes running lots of drives easy. I run 8
drives with all interfaces so wire managment was hard. I also have a long video card and
moved my top HDD tray to second from the top(under the DVD writer). I had to switch
the bottom and top front fans to get the fans aligned over the HDD tray moved up. Just
barely enough wiggle room . The ability to move that tray, have the PS on the bottom
and the absolute best air flow possible though there are some limitations. The fan
controls on top of the unit work beautifully. Both the top and the side fans also have
on/off switches on the outside of the case. Not "too thin" metal. The tool less design is
great, easy to work with for the most part. By far one of the best cases I have ever
bought! Just the airflow alone is worth it"s weight in gold. The openeings at the back are
handy if you do liquid cooling. not built too thin. Just right and awesome for the prices.

This is the first time I have built a computer, and this case worked for me quite well. It has plenty of room, and I did not have much trouble fitting everything in. My favorite feature is probably the removable, cleanable, air filter at the front of the case. I like to clean my computers 3 or 4 times a year, and I love the idea of just cleaning this filter with a little water. It is a great feature. The case also comes with three big fans, which gives me a little peace of mind about cooling in the enclosure. The blue LEDs are nice, but that is cosmetic icing on the cake. All the needed hardware was included, everything works well, and I can say that I am pretty happy.

I bought this to start out my new computer build and am very happy with it a month into owning it.
The fans keep air circulating through my case very well and it also looks very sharp from the outside.
Plenty of space, lots of drive bays, mount for PSU on the bottom (better for air flow and temp control IMO).
Solid construction, easy to install hard/disc drives, plenty of air flow with grated/mesh construction and 3 x 120mm case fans!

Pros: XCLIO GREATPOWER 1200W has very good quality modular cabling, has very stable voltages, and the fan is very quiet. I have ho zero problems with it in the 2 Months I have been using it with 3 HD"s, one optical drive, 9800 gx2, e8400(overclocked to 4.1 Ghz), 4 Gigs of ram, and 4 large case fans. I love the modular design which is color coded so that you always use the correct rails for stability of output.
Other Thoughts: There are more attractive looking power supplies out there but I can"t see any reason not to enjoy the quality and ease of use that I am experiencing with this product. I plan on adding another 9800 gx2 for quad SLI which will easily be handled by this power supply with power to spare!

Pros: EXCELLENT build quality, especially if you have used cheaper RAID cages before.
Cons: Can"t think of a thing. I would buy more in a heartbeat. I have had these in service for awhile now, and have had no problems. Not really a con, but it would be nice if, instead of four individual cables, it came with the cables that connect 4 individual SATA cables to a RAID controller, since that is the most logical way these cages would be employed.
Other Thoughts: I installed two of them in my XW workstation with 8 15K drives in them, and they are VERY quiet. I had previously had some cheap cages in there, and the difference is staggering. No vibration, no weird noises...even with all those drives it sounds (almost) like a normal computer.

XClio STABLEPOWER GOLD 1000W is an amazing power supply. Comes with one year warranty although I doubt you will need it. It"s quieter than I was expecting. I am now using it with two gtx 590s and the fan never even has to speed up even if I"m running both cards at load and theyre drawing all 1000w of it. Looking inside, the heatsink is massive. Large fan that is extremely quiet. Worth every penny! Its very efficient has not failed yet.

Pros: big really big my 5870 fits in and it still has space. fans are nice quite but move a good amount of air. they look good. i have had alot of good comments on a 3 of my cases all made by xclio.
Cons: no yet
Other Thoughts: the metal i thick i had to modife the clip that holds the pcie, pci cards in to clear the 5870 video card the little progs hit the video cards board and fan cover. not a big problem
